»The Verge reports this morning that a user of a Russian forum has leaked nearly 6.5 million unsalted, SHA-1 hashed LinkedIn account passwords.
While the original forum post appears to be down, a Google cache of the thread is still available.
»As part of an effort to increase my Drupal knowledge, I’m rebuilding my site in Drupal. Most likely, things will break, links will no longer work, rivers of blood, fire raining from the heavens, etc. etc. etc. If you find something particularly broken, please let me know. »
I've been working on feeding Amazon S3 access log data in to Splunk. I'm running a fairly simple setup: several websites, each with their own bucket; a single "logs" bucket that all the website buckets log to, using their domain name as a prefix; and a single Splunk server.

»Announcing the release of my second plugin for GetSimple (and my entry in GetSimple's March 2012 Create-a-thon): Simple Backups.

You can download the latest release from Extend, or grab the bleeding-edge source from GitHub.

It’s fairly rudimentary at the moment - the search page only exposes searching by location name (with wildcards) and state, and returns any matching postcodes (and, if available, latitude and longitude data).
»I've released an update to my News Manager RSS plugin, fixing a couple of entity-encoding bugs.
Get it from Extend, as usual.
»Announcing my first plugin for GetSimple - add RSS functionality to your News Manager blog with the uncreatively named News Manager RSS plugin.
It’s a fairly simple plugin, displaying the latest $x
posts from your News Manager in RSS 2.0 format. It also injects an RSS autodiscovery tag into the header of your site, for ease of discovery.
